# Inflection Agents

> These are the agents that work across multiple surfaces (in-app, Claude, Slack, Asana, etc.).

## Meet the Agents

| **Agent** | **What it does** | **Example prompt** |
| -------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Audience** | Turns a description into a saved, auto-refreshing dynamic list | "Enterprise accounts in California, active in 30 days." |
| **Content (email)** | Drafts and edits emails — from a brief or by editing a template by name | "Write a welcome email with a 20% offer." |
| **Segment** | Builds ordered, mutually-exclusive segment categories | "Lifecycle segments: New, Active, At Risk, Churned." |
| **Token** | Creates and verifies personalization tokens, including computed scores | "A token for first name with a fallback of 'there'." |
| **Journey building** | Assembles multi-step journey drafts (emails, delays, branches) | "Draft a 3-step onboarding journey." |

## Audience Agent

Describe who you want to reach and the agent builds a reusable dynamic list, grounded in your real field values. Use this to target contacts without manually configuring the filter UI.

## Content Agent

Drafts on-brand emails from a brief, restyles elements in plain language, and edits saved templates by name — with a preview before anything sends.

## Segment Agent

Creates first-match-wins segment categories for lifecycle stages, tiers, and engagement levels.

## Token Agent

Builds and verifies personalization — from simple field references to arithmetic PQL scores — and shows a previewed result before you save.

## Journey Building

There is no separate journey agent. Build journey drafts by describing the flow directly; review and activate in the app.

## Where to Use the Agents

All agents work across multiple surfaces. Each surface has its own setup guide.

| **Surface** | **Best for** |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **In-app chat** | The full visual experience — live plan, inline previews, file uploads |
| **Claude** | Power use from your AI client; chain steps in one thread |
| **ChatGPT** | Same agents in ChatGPT (coming soon) |
| **Slack** | Kick off a campaign from your team channel, with approval gates |
| **Asana** | Turn a tagged task brief into a built email |

## What the Agents Can and Cannot Do

**They build, you activate.** Agents draft and save assets; you decide when journeys and sends go live.

**They ground in your data.** Agents read your schema, fields, and business context, and do not expose individual contact data.

**They do not replace the UI for everything.** Some edits and all activation happen in the Inflection app.

## Get the Best Results

**Lead with the goal.** "Re-engage trial users who stalled" works better than a list of filters.

**Give business terms, not field names.** The agent maps your terminology to your real data values.

**Work one task at a time, and say "save" when ready.**

## Report a Problem

If an agent is not delivering the expected result, contact your customer success team in Slack with a link to the conversation, your goal, and screenshots.
