# April 2026

> Data Normalization, Conversions for user field changes, Wait for SFDC Sync flowstep, native form enhancements, UI updates, and Help Center 1.2.

* **Data Normalization**: A powerful way to clean up inconsistent field values across your contact database. Powered by AI, the mapping engine analyzes your input prompt and your existing values, then suggests smart groupings and mappings in seconds. You simply review and save. Write normalized values directly back to the source field, or preserve your raw data by routing output to a separate field. New incoming data is normalized the moment it is ingested, and you can backfill historical records with a single click. Find it under Database > Data Normalization and start with the fields that matter most to your reporting and segmentation. Some example use cases:
  * Convert all your countries to two-letter ISO codes
  * Standardize US states to letter codes
  * Keep your lead sources in consistent lowercase
  * Map hundreds of different job titles into cleaner job functions
* **Conversions Enhancement**: Use Conversions to help answer if your journeys are driving the outcomes you care about. Define Conversion events and link them to your journeys to measure outcomes! You can now add User field changes to measure conversions, in addition to Contact field changes, marketing actions, and product activities.
* **Wait for SFDC Sync flowstep**: This flowstep delays journey steps until the next Salesforce sync run completes. Use this step when downstream actions in your journey depend on data that has been written back to Salesforce.
* **Native Form Enhancements**: As a follow up to our initial release of Inflection Native Forms in March '26, we've added several enhancements including: field mapping overwrite rules, the ability to create new forms from the Folders tab, form submissions as Marketing Activity events, transparent background settings, consent checkbox mapping, and reCAPTCHA capabilities.
* **UI Enhancements**: Based on user feedback, we continue to update the UI for a better Inflection experience. In the April release, we're introducing the following changes:
  * Journey audience: the audience criteria UI on the journey page has been updated to make it easier to distinguish between outer groups and filter groups, with a clearer visual separation between operators and operands.
  * Email reports: a new Sent tab has been added to the Email Report's recipients page. Use this tab to see recipients that were sent emails from a journey. The Sent tab lives alongside the existing All, Not Sent, Open, Click, Bounce, Unsub, and Spam tabs.
* **Agent-Automated Email Migration**: Work with the Inflection team to build a custom Claude skill that migrates emails from a third-party platform in bulk or on an ongoing basis. Reach out to your customer success team if you're interested.
* **Inflection Help Center 1.2**: Now live at [docs.inflection.io](https://docs.inflection.io)! We've refreshed the content, reorganized the sections, and updated screenshots throughout, and the Inflection Agent pulls from these articles when answering your product questions!
