- Branch by Filter and Branch by Value in Trigger Journeys: Trigger journeys now include the two branching steps that were previously only available in scheduled journeys. Branch by filter splits contacts into True and False paths based on filter conditions on person properties. Branch by value creates a separate path for each value of a person field, such as Country is “United States” or “United Kingdom,” plus a Default path for everyone else. Each branch can have its own steps after it. For example, a “Submitted a form” journey can now send managers one follow-up and individual contributors another, or route by region, without building a separate journey for each case.
- Email Tracking Controls: Every email now has three separate tracking switches in its settings: Track opens, Track link clicks, and Identify visitors on your website. All three are on by default, so your existing emails keep working as they do today. You can now turn tracking off one email at a time instead of all or nothing. The unsubscribe link and your UTM and custom link parameters are never affected. The Emails list has a new Tracking column showing Full, Partial, or None, plus a filter to match. Reports show “Not tracked” instead of a count, and in journeys that mix tracked and untracked emails, rates are calculated from the tracked emails only. Keep in mind that changes apply from the next send, and any lists or exit criteria that rely on opens or clicks will stop matching for emails where that tracking is off.
- Salesforce Sync Health: Salesforce connections have a redesigned Sync Health tab with a revamped Sync errors table. Each error shows the time, email, object, object ID, sync type, error message, and sync run, plus the campaign ID and name for Campaign Member errors. You can filter by date, object type, and sync type, search by email, and archive errors you’ve already handled. Clicking an error count in Sync History takes you straight to that run’s errors. Emails link to the contact in Inflection, and object IDs for Contacts, Leads, Accounts, and Opportunities open the record directly in Salesforce. This makes it much easier to find and fix sync issues yourself.
- Inflection APIs v2: Our public API now goes well beyond contacts. New endpoints let you list journeys and pull engagement stats per journey (with an optional date range) or combined across journeys by ID, tag, or folder. You can list email templates and pull stats for each email across every journey that sends it, and get static and dynamic lists from one endpoint. You can also create, read, and update product users and organizations, add users to orgs, and look up a contact’s linked users and orgs. This means you can pull campaign performance into your BI tools or data warehouse and manage product users and orgs from your own systems.
- Converted leads stay deleted: Previously, deleting a Salesforce contact that had been converted from a lead could cause that person to be re-created in Inflection as a lead. Now the contact is simply deleted.
- Automatic retries for Salesforce Campaign Member syncs: Syncs that hit Salesforce’s temporary record lock error are now retried automatically instead of failing.
- Easier navigation: You can now right-click assets inside a folder to open them in a new tab, browser tabs show the asset name, and the back button returns you to the folder you came from.
- Unified Mapping v2: Map contact, account, and user fields, add and delete fields, connect and map data warehouse data, and set multiple sources per field, all from one place.
- Inbound Webhooks and Forms Redesign: A simpler two-step setup, a single details page per connection, and one unified list of forms across providers.
- Bot Filtering and Engagement Deduplication: Email reports can exclude suspected bot opens and clicks, and repeat opens from the same person on the same send count once.
- Email Marketing Agent (EMA): A new way to create AI-personalized emails. You describe what you want in plain words, such as “win back trial users who went quiet,” and the agent looks at each contact’s data in Inflection and writes a personalized version of the email for them. You get a working draft right away instead of a blank form, and you can refine it by chatting (“make it warmer,” “shorter,” “mention their plan”). The agent shows you exactly what it changed each time. Before going live, you can test the email on a sample of real contacts, see what each person would receive and why, and fix anything that looks off. Publishing takes one click, you can pause or go back to an earlier version at any time, and a live view shows opens and clicks after launch. Your header, footer, links, and unsubscribe stay fixed, since the agent only writes the body copy, so every send stays on-brand. If a contact doesn’t have enough data for a good personalized version, they get a backup email you choose instead. AI emails live in your Emails library next to your regular templates, and the agent remembers your decisions between sessions.
- Data Warehouse Setup Redesign: A rebuilt setup flow for Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, and Redshift connections, covering Contacts, Accounts, Product Users, Organizations, Product User Organizations, and Product Activity. You pick your tables and either read them as they are or have Inflection draft a view (with AI help) that joins and de-duplicates them. A view is a saved query that combines or cleans tables inside your warehouse. You then confirm the columns that identify each record, pass built-in validation checks, and set a sync schedule. After setup, a new management page lets you pause and resume syncs, handle changes to your tables, and detect deleted rows (Snowflake and Redshift only).
- Journey Events to Segment: Journey Entered, Journey Completed, and Journey Exited events will be sent back to your Segment connection, so you can analyze journey participation alongside the rest of your data.
